Sanderson
Funeral Home was founded in Pleasant Shade
in 1904 by the late T.D. (Tommy) Sanderson as part of the
Sanderson General Merchandise Store. Now, almost a century
later, one of the oldest businesses in Smith County includes two
modern facilities and three cemetaries allowing us to better serve
the families of our area.
With funeral homes in Carthage and
Kempville, Tennessee, we are able to offer traditional funeral
services along with non-traditional services such as memorial
services and cremation. Our licensed funeral directors can
assist you in planning and carrying out a tribute as unique and
individual as the ones you love. The staff at Sanderson
Funeral Homes is committed to continuing the
tradition of respect, compassion, and professionalism that we have
provided to the families we have served over the years.
Our cemeteries in Carthage, Defeated
Creek and Dixon Springs are all state-licensed perpetual-care
cemeteries. This means that money has been set aside in
order to maintain the final resting place of our loved ones even
after this generation is gone. The grounds crew works
year-round to keep our cemeteries well groomed and in keeping with
the way you would want your own home maintained.
Sanderson
Funeral Homes also offers many other services such
as after-care, monument sales, and funeral pre-arrangements.
Our pre-arrangement counselors can help you to pre-plan in order
to lift part of the financial and emotional burden off of family
members and loved ones. We offer free brochures without
pressure or obligation to help explain some of the many advantages
of pre-planning.
At Sanderson
Funeral Homes, we take pride in being a part of
our community and want the people in the Smith County area to feel
free to call on us at any time we can be of help. Our
service to this community is more than a business. It's a
tradition of comfort and trust. |
